About the George Cathey, Jr. Descendency Document   This document was supplied in electronic form by Mr. Boyt Henderson Cathey, bcathey@worldnet.att.net, who is the leading genealogist studying the Cathey family name. It contains a few "facts" that are known by Gordon Cathey to be in error; however, it is being posted here in its orginal entirety, without corrections.   The document is also missing large pieces of information about recently deceased and living family members. Corrections and additions will be addended to the document in the near future. For now, you may view and print it as it was supplied.   Due to the errors that it contains, please exercise care in distributing it to other people: we do not want the errors to become compounded and to eventually become "history."   To its credit, the document gave us a great deal of information about James Earl's ancestors and their descendants. It also provides several leads for us to follow in gaining even more knowledge of our people.   The document is posted here as a PDF file, which means that you will need to download it to your computer and that you will need to have a late version of Adobe Acrobat Reader mounted on your hard drive.
